Have Fun, Do Good, Do Epic

This Old Legs Tour is the 5th edition, following Cape Town, Kilimanjaro, Lockdown Zim, Lockdown SA. The Munda Biddi Trail, meaning 'path through the forest' in the local Noongar Aboriginal language, is a gargantuan off-road cycling experience. The Trail traverses Western Australia's Darling Range and Southern Forests through Eucalypt bushland, granite outcrops and unique wetlands. There are few places in the world where a 1000km trail could be built through an undeveloped natural corridor.

Every day on the Trail will be different - our team will ride through towering eucalyptus forests and pristine ancient bushland, past rolling farmland and wind-shaped coastal ecosystems. The Trail winds through terrain from Mundaring in the Perth Hills, to Albany on the South Coast. The surface on the northern half of the Trail is the distinctive red pea-gravel, whilst the southern forests have a combination of soils and sand.

The journey back will be skirting the south west coastline, leading the old legs throughout the varying terrains and climates of western australia, including looming cliffs, soft white sand, hills and soil.

The old legs will be riding 5-6 hours a day for the 30 day journey with a few rest days scattered in between, this will be a journey like no other…

The Team

Having seen the efforts of previous Old Legs Tours thorughout the most rugged African terrain, Peter Brodie had the idea to bring the tour down under in an effort to help out with the pensioners in his birthplace of Zimbabwe.

Spreading the word through the Zimbabwean Community, Pete soon had assembled a team of equally passionate ex-Zimbabwean citizens to join the cause. The team is made up of Pete Brodie, Vic Authers, Charlie Lenegan, Gordon Kent, Roger Green, Mark Johnson and Garth Steinbach.
